seeds seeds

hello,

Can someone tell me how to dry seeds out ? i tried and they dont look very good.. really dried out, 500% smaller, and almost brown black in colour...

whats a good way to dry em ?

thanks

i take them from the fresh pod & put them on a paper towel in a cupboard for a week, then plastic bag, labeled & in a draw.

were the original pods frozen?

they are actually fresh pods that were knocked off the plants from my dogs wagging tails...lol

ill take a look at the link rainbow thanks.

I'm low-tech..
I just spread em out on a coffee filter, write the date and what they are on the filter and stick under my grow lights. (not close, like 6" away)

In about a day or two they are perfectly dry and not fried. Never had any mold yet.

Hell, nature has been drying out seeds for millennia with air-drying.

Then I just fold/roll up the thing into a bindle, secure with a twist-tie or small rubber band and stick into a baggie with a note as to what they are. Seems to work well.
