I saw we honor what you guys are doing, and do something we can all enjoy, you guys included.

Partnering is a good idea, but I think it should have restrictions.
No two people in the same city. Thp decides the partners.
You might get a nwcf dude(ette), you might get an aussie, you might BE an aussie, you won't know until d day.
You declare eligibility by Monday.
Thp announces partners and rules Tuesday
You have until the following Tuesday to communicate, come up with a menu and title, and post.

Not as complex as it sounds. Could be a fun way to tag team with someone you haven't worked with directly before.

I've learned not to get toooooo hopped up about the TD theme until Boss lays down the law!

He could totally screw us NWPackers and make it an Ice Cream TD!!!!!

(yes, I know FD - you would looooove an ice cream TD...yadda, yadda, yadda....... ;) )

on the other hand...I have been looking for an excuse to buy and Ice cream machine..... :pray:
 
I was doing the partnering thing for NWCF campers... so the not in the same city does not fit. Oh well. Back to the drawing board?
 
FD, That could be extremely hard whilst camping. A lot of time would be needed to communicate (PMing)

And, well, we'll be camping.

Another point without trying to sound too frikken needy, it would be nice to know what we'll be doing on llike, Thursday.
SalsaFam and us will be leaving and caravanning Friday morning. If we could do our shopping Thursday or earlier, that would be great.

I really don't want this whole thing to revolve around us going camping, but I did start this thread just wondering what the possibilities might be, and I thought it could be cool for people at the NWCF to see how it all works, and maybe participate.
Last count was 18 THP registered members + family/friends will be there, and we all gotta eat!
 
Hmmm...that's why I mentioned Tuesday to tuesday, but that could present problems.

Canned goods?
Bacon?
Fire?

We've gotta be able to come up with something!

Knowing where we'll be camping and all, I'd prefer to keep it an outdoor challenge, not a partners challenge. I LIKE the partners idea. But I'd like to see it between people not geographically linked.

We all know that SumBits and FryDad hang out and cook some crazy stuff. And likewise, Us and SD/CJ hang out, and also with HH81/fam. And JayT and TB have some kind of long distance/queso- thang going on.

So a partners challenge would maybe be with those not in physical proximity.

maybe not helping much for September other than not a partner challenge.

I'd love a chance for TB and I to take on SoFlo and the great NW! That would be truly a crazy throwdown for the ages.

If SoFlo teams up it wouldn't even be fair.

Wouldn't be good for a td though.
It would need to be decathlon style with many events.
Salmon, queso, mojo pork, etc...

I like the outdoor cooking idea personally.
Thp can come up with the specifics, but that way we can include everyone.
Wheebz will have to cook on the beach.
