Shoreriders not a Glog.

Thought I'd share some pictures of my Chillies so far. The start to my season wasn't a great one, but thankfully I got it all sorted out without loosing any plants. They're over a month behind where they should be, but they are doing very well now.

Aji Margariteno, the only plant of my Lindberg varieties that grew out.

Tabasco, the ever reliable producer.

Jimmy Nardello, must be crossed as this one has some heat to it.

Jalapeño, must have crossed with something last season. I also have regular green Jalapeños that grew true.

Many of my Superhots are only just starting to pod up.

Way overcrowded I know, I underestimated how well my plants would do. I'll definitely be planting fewer plants per bed next season.

Plants look nice an healthy SR. Thanks for the pod porn.

Your fence does look pretty cool as does the Adobe roof on that house beyond the fence.

Please excuse my newbie ignorance but what is the "Lindeberg" plants?

The Lindberg plant is the hot one of the bunch am i correct? Keep up the good work.

Lindeberg is a user on here, he was offering up seeds for peppers with no heat. Very rare ones. It started with Nigel reviewing one called Aji Jobito, and that generated some interest. Lindeberg was the source of those seeds. None of them are supposed to have any heat at all, but they don't look like your standard sweet peppers. I believe all are chinenses. I'll attach a link to the review if you want to have a look.

Looking good SR!  Those Lindeburg definitely look like they may have more heat than your average aji....   +1 chinense - my goats look very similar.

That's really cool of you to post pictures of the Lindeberg plants. A lot of us are only just sowing them, so we won't know for ages. I'd be cool if you did a short review on the margariteños. The grow is looking really good, thanks for sharing!
Well, now that you mention it, as I was trying to get a better pic of the three Aji Margariteno pods in the first pic, the biggest one broke off.  :banghead: So, straight into my mouth it went. Being so unripe this pepper can't really be reviewed properly but here's what I found.

The walls are quite thin for such a large pod, nothing like a Rocoto for example. The texture was leathery, and almost rubber like, but seeing as this pod was rather unripe it could have something to do with it. No sweetness at all, instead a bitterness was present. The strongest noticeable flavor was very nutty, which I find rather unusual, but not unpleasant in a pepper. As expected, no heat at all with this pepper. I can't wait to taste a ripe pod to truly appreciate the true flavors.

Thanks brother, you've been a great help with my grow this season, so you can take some of the credit of my success. Hopefully my next update will contain some of your SMB pods.

Thanks TC1010, you should have seen them a month after I planted out, I thought I was going to loose every plant! I had major soil hydrophobia issues, thankfully all I lost was time.

As for the fence.......thanks.

Thank you mpicante, I'm not sure, but I think most, if not all of the Lindeberg Aji's aren't hot. This one defenetly wasn't. See the link posted by Comptine below.

Thanks Bumper and kepab, this was my first season growing the Aji Pineapple, and I can say that it is one of my new favourites.

I'll be adding more of my harvests here soon, as they happen so stay tuned.

Nice harvest of the aji's there shorerider. Save me a few seeds if you can. Not too concerned if not isolated etc. I've fallen in love with the mango citrus flavour of fatalii so wouldn't mind trying these out.
