Going to a cookout this evening where everyone is asked to bring a dish,
so I thought I'd bring a few rellenos and maybe mark a few extra spicy. ;-)
DSCN0994.jpg

Beautiful and bountiful plants! But at the cookout don't mark anything spicy. Just play stupid. It's so fun! I did that with stuffed rocotos and everyone thought they were sweet peppers at first! Ha Ha!!!!!

Thanks guys.

looks great.

you live across from a cemetery?

Nope, they "don't" live across from me. They're nice neighbors; they never complain and hardly ever create a ruckus. It's a pretty nice area and people are just dieing to get in. :P

Nah, I like to give some warning and there's always at least one or two in the crowd ready to take em on anyway. More fun to see em taken down a peg or two. ;) One spiked with chopped Naga was passed between 4 before all of it was consumed. :hell:
The rest were demolished in less than 10 minutes. :)

good harvest and great looking plants SS...they seem to be "oversummering" a lot better than mine are...I didn't evben bother with a harvest yesterday...got some ripening fruit but not more than a couple of handfuls...will wait until next week to harvest...

***Come On September***

Summer has gone nutz here and this is the coolest August I can remember. Currently overcast and 80, but look at the temps in this forecast, especially the lows.

My ripe pods are still coming in dribs and drabs right now, but it may pick up some in a week or two.

Here's to cooler weather for ya soon AJ.

Do you have an extra barn you keep your harvests in or what? Still can't get over how beautiful that part of the country is either... Lookin good SS

If you've never been in that part of the country boutros you owe it to yourself to go. I'm sure SS would put you up if you brought along some "rent money" ha!

SS I'm digging your albino fish.

Sounds like you've been to Bama patrick. You're the one that rescued that Fish plant from a 16oz cup, remember. :P
I had culled it because most of it wasn't variegated.
