SKULLBIKERS 2019 Container and Kratky GLOG

I am starting an indoor grow experiment so I might as well start the new years glog at the same time. Today I threw 3 seeds in the dirt(hoping for 66% germination). I will keep 1 in dirt and 1 in Kratky. These will stay in my grow room under my 8000K T8 shoplights from the beginning through fruit.

Gone for a week and find I have 1 ripe Rocoto Montufar and one nearly there and have not hit the five month mark since germination!

And one of the Rocoto Rio Haullagos had 3 ripe pods on it.

And another one of the Rocoto Rio Haullago plants has a pod with a tumor on it(i suppose I will have to give it some of my Methotrexate).

I decided to dice up the Rocoto Rio Haullago peppers to throw in my Burrito Bowl tonite and found each one had the peppers in a pepper thing going big time. I see this occasionally on other peppers but this is 3 out of 3. Since I am new to growing these I just wondered if this was common with this type of pepper. Anyway, saving the seeds already.

I'm seriously jealous that your rocotos are producing such lovely fruit. I haven't had a single pod set - just the flowers dropping.

I guess this is the difference between Texas and Minnesota! Sunday's high will be 99F!
I hope this wont make you more jealous. Before lunch I pulled the two ripe Rocoto Montufar pods I had.

I proceded to cut them in half(very juicy) and check them out.

Then I diced up the smaller one for my 1/4 lb hot dog roll-up.

I just ate my first in my life Rocoto Montufar pod, and yes, it was good.....very good.

As far as temperature for growing, it gets pretty hot in my greenhouse where these are, although nights are usually cool.
Here is the temp in my greenhouse minutes ago according to my Netatmo sensor.
