SKULLBIKERS 2019 Container and Kratky GLOG

I am starting an indoor grow experiment so I might as well start the new years glog at the same time. Today I threw 3 seeds in the dirt(hoping for 66% germination). I will keep 1 in dirt and 1 in Kratky. These will stay in my grow room under my 8000K T8 shoplights from the beginning through fruit.

Looks like you and your plants are
diggin' the CenFlo climate!

Can't wait to see how much jungle
you wind up with, SB!
I wish now that I had moved here 45 years ago! As far as the jungle, I just have to keep the bugs at bay. The really big army worms are voracious basterds. I had one clean off a 2 ft broccoli plant in one night, just the stalk was left.

I have always said that bugs, pests and diseases are
a trade-off for the beautiful weather.  I guess every
growing area has its own cross to bear    :D

Good luck adapting to the exterminator role!

I just had 6 yards of container mix delivered(and had it dumped next to my recently acquired container)

That picture gives me the chills - reminds me of a high school summer job I had painting those f'ing things. I spent more time scrubbing the rust off and putting protective sealer than I did actually painting. Not fun with the sun beating down on a hot container - the paint dried almost instantly so getting a nice finish was a nightmare.

The one in the pic could use a fresh coat. Since your the only one here with experience your hired. Would u prefer to be paid in fresh or dried pods?

Since I have more soil to use I decided to go through my old seeds and plant a few more. Check out the country of origin on the Primo Jalapenos, no wonder they were always so good.

I have a neighbor that says he has a friend who will eat any pepper pod you give him..........still looking for any remaining Brainstrain seeds but I think I may have used them up a couple of years ago. I have not seen anyone eat those straight and not get all watery eyed.

It doesn't take a BrainStrain to get me
all watery eyed!

Have fun with those. I would love to
see some 17-inch Big Jims!
I have even had a few of those surprise jalapenos that get me watery eyed. I grew those World Record Big Jim seeds two seasons a few years ago, best I got was 9 - 10 inches long. If they germinate I can see what they do in this climate.

Every one has their special crossed peppers, I think I have a Cherry Bomb X Jalapeno cross..........a JALABOMB! [emoji15][emoji122][emoji106]

So I have been just kind of watching the current round of plants growing away out behind the garage finally beginning to form some good looking peppers and figured.... why not start a few more for a nice early spring run. I have the containers and the soil so here is the list for round 2 that I just planted today.(with a plan to reincarnate ERNEST BORG 9!)
