Well, when I lived in Minnesnowta, many people would say how hard it was to grow in the cold climate......I never had that problem. Then as I read posts on the forum for a year prior to moving to Florida, people here were saying how hard it was to grow here because of the weather.....Have not seen that yet. I make it a point to usually ignore other peoples opinions on many things. I especially ignore others plant growing advice. I do pay attention to what others are doing and I usually always have a couple of extra plants to experiment on. That is how I learn. I just grow shit, it does not really matter where I am, my techniques will evolve and adapt.Mr.joe said:I think the Florida weather is making it too easy for you.
They just started picking oranges around us so shortly we will be bombarded with all kinds of STUFF!Mr.joe said:The plants need what they need and you know that. Climate definitely plays a roll in that no matter where u are, but Florida definitely seems like the winner in the climate area (of course you get more bugs and reptiles and stuff)
I have been known to punch in a t-post along side of a few in the past. The smaller containers(43 liter) can be tippy, The 18 gallon ones are pretty stable(these are what I like to use)and the times i used the 25 gallon ones they were pretty darn stable.PtMD989 said:Gottem today[emoji16]. Do you have to stake down your planters so the wind don’t knock’em over?
