SKULLBIKERS Roaring Into The Twenties GLOG

I had the strangest thing happen today that has never happened before while planting seeds. It all started when my wife wanted me to try start some Beaver Dam pepper seeds because she likes those peppers. All I could find were some OLD seeds, like six years old.

I started at 1:00 pm with a H2O2 soak using Zero water.

At 2:00 pm I rinsed the seeds in plain Zero water. I made up a sterilized mix of sugar water using Zero water and Turbinado. I put the seeds in to soak in this mixture.

At 3:00 pm I put the seeds(not rinsed) in a clean tube and applied pure oxygen under low pressure for about 5 minutes.

Then I just left the tube lay there while I got a seed tray ready. Just before 4:00 pm I dumped the seeds out of the tube and found ONE like this! WTF

Honest to God, if I had not seen it myself I would not have believed it. From old dry seed to sprout in 3 hours!

Here is that same Jamaican Yellow as 2 days ago, now sporting some buds.

Putting the reflective coating on some new BIG containers.

And here is an Equidorian Sweet Rocoto that decided to tear its own head off upon germinating. I left it and put it under the lights and now it looks like a very tiny true leaf is forming!

Congrat's on that SB!  I had an ecuador sweet do the exact same thing just a day or two ago.

Mine won't be forming any leaves, though  :(

Next player up!  :)

The plants are growing fast now and getting crowded so I will have to move some plants to another shelf.

I really am impressed with the growth on the Paquime Hybrid Jalapenos, nice heavy duty stalks.

This one has started branching early.

And this one is pushing out the buds.

I just thought I would show what I noticed on my lighting(or rather, my camera could see it much more clearly than me). The first pic is T8 6500K lights, the second fixture from the right has new bulbs in it.

I just put some of my T8 8000K lights on this shelf(8000K is listed on the packaging as Sky White).
