Time to begin the new year and this will be my peppers glog.

As I was moving containers around today I came across new(to me) bugs. Both that I saw were the wingless females.

I just love starting new plants. And now I can pretty much do it any time of the year. These were all started with no heat pads or lights.

I did grow year around in Minnesota with my basement Kratky but doing it outdoors at full scale is much better.

I thought I would post some pics of the variegated plant that I have going from seed from PollenNut so people not following his F1BC1 thread could also see it.

A good portion of the pods are kind of striped. When the pod forms on a node of white leaves, the calyx is also white.

With year around bug season there is always something going on. I caught it on this seedling, the one behind it was not so lucky.

Since temps have cooled to the upper 80s for highs the plants are beginning to produce decent pods again.
