Slater1980 2013

Hi to everyone

I'm going to start a glog for 2013 and I plan to finish it but I've got to have open heart surgery soon for a congenital bicuspid aortic valve.

I plan to grow less then half of the amount I did last year so it doesn't become such I commitment to look after the plants especially with all lifting of the plant pots you have to do to bring the plants back in at night to protect against frost.

I will have the help of my lovely girlfriend but I don't want it to become a chor for her to look after them if I can't.

I'm not a man of many words so I tend not to reply to questions with conversation starting answer but I really enjoy posting pictures and updates.

I hope you can all enjoy my glog.


I started by soaking my seeds in plain water for 6hrs,I got the water upto 29c before placing the seeds in water.

This is the seed starting medium I chose.

And the little fellas all tucked up

I've got to go back February and have another check up then the cardiologist will see how bad it's got since last time.

As you can see I've invested in a grow tent as I had trouble hiding the light last year from Nosy Neighbors.

Only just started mezo so you not missed much I was pretty happy with last years,I started loads more plants last year thinking I would fail to germinate most and nearly all sprouted.

I've took last years grow and more then halved the amount of plants to make it easier on myself

Have you recived ones I sent yet? I sent on 19th of jan. I also sent some to someone in the uk the same day and they haven't recived there's yet.
