Slow to Germinate

I was just wondering if the chocolate habs and the chocolate bhuts should take longer to sprout than the other bhuts and habs I am growing?

I hope I didn't get crap seeds. Will try some more seeds if I don't get sprouts up by Saturday.

Ive heard that choc habs tend to take a little longer for some odd reason. Not sure about the choc bhuts. If you are doing everything correctly it shouldnt take long

The bhuts can take up to a month or a little longer, but I would not think any longer than 3 weeks on the habs? Maybe I'm wrong (wouldn't be the first, or last, time!)..

No heat mat and they have been planted two weeks tomorrow. My question is why are all my others up and these aren't? I suppose I should have a little more patience since my temps are only in the low 80s.

Did not presoak seeds.

My choco bhuts were some of the latest to sprout for me...in fact, I just had one pop up this morning and it is has been exactly 2 weeks since they went in the dirt. I use a tray with a dome, a heating mat, and the closet they are in hovers around 75 degrees, so I'd say it's pretty ideal conditions for sprouting. Most of my superhots sprouted within the first week, some as early as 4 days, so I think given this year's late sprouting and years past with bhuts, they are just tougher to germinate. I think this is why the bhut was never adopted commercially, because of difficulty in germination and the plant itself is not as hardy as some other super hots.
