Where's our resident bartender/hotdog microwaver when we need him??? Somehow I'm sure he could make a fantabulous recommendation for 69 with brewing thunderstorms. Might even find a way to fit those thunderstorms into your glass...
 
For this occasion, I would recommend a Dark and Stormy which is traditionally made with Dark Rum and Ginger Beer. You can add a splash of lime with it if you wish. In a pinch, you could make it with regular rum, regular beer and a little ginger puree, but then it would not be dark. Hope this helps.
 
That's absolutely perfect!!!! Today is VERY Dark & Stormy, and we'll be having a short work day....

...so I'll be testing out that idea in about 7 hours....Stay Tuned!!!

Home now! Beer got bought, rum is getting snuggly with some ginger puree, lime is waiting to get Charmined....just gotta digest my lunch, and I'm off & running!!!! And it's VERY Dark & Stormy here still.......bleh. But that cocktail ought to brighten things up a bit! :)
 
Scovie's snorin' on the couch, and I can't get away from this computer long enough to get to mix my libation!!!!! I was on my way to the kitchen, then saw LadySic's pizza pie, and got all distracted again!!!!!! It's all HER fault!!! hahaha
