Smoked Chocolate TScorpion Puree

Here is the crème de la crème for the puree that I made today.  Smoked Chocolate TScorpions. Smells really intense in here.   Same recipe as the Nagas and the Fatalis.  Over 1100 grams of deseeded Chocolate TScorpionsin this batch.

Here they are out of the smoker

What temp are you smoking these at?
keep the temp as low as you can - you don't want to cook them.  ideally less than 190 degrees.  i had a bit of a temperature excursion on these and it got a bit too hot.  good luck.

I just did my first chipotle powder. I smoked em for 2 hours at 175 then finished them off in my oven set to 170 propped open for around 10 hours. Turned out good. How long does it take to dehydrate in your smoker at lower temps?

I've never completely dehydrated in the smoker - have always smoked and then dried in dehydrator.  Usually seems like somewhere around 30-48 hours (depending on pod and weight) at approximately 125 degrees.

This was a combination of cherry and apple (60/40)
