smoking Smoked Thanksgiving Day Turkey

If I may ask, how long did it smoke at 350?
I don't recall because it took longer than I expected to get the kettle up to temp.  It was around 2.25 hours.

Let's see slices!
Sorry, already bagged up in the fridge.  I only used 2 applewood chunks, so, there wasn't a smoke ring, but, the smoke flavor was still there.  Gravy had it too, since I used the drippings.  Juicy breast meat...no crumbling.

Try putting some bacon slices over the top of it.  The bacon will slowly cook and release its juices to baste the turkey.  Bonus you end up with some pieces of nicely smoked bacon to eat =)
