Smokey Jolokia Sauce & Chilli eating comp

Hi Everyone,

I have just perfected my new Wildfire Chilli Smokey Jolokia sauce which consists of lots of Bhut Jolokia and Chipotles with a mix of other yummy ingredients. It will be for sale on my website soon, once I get the labels printed.

In the meantime I have been asked by Zapatas Mexican Restaurant, to provide them with my new sauce as well as a few other products I stock for their chilli eating competition tomorrow night. The prize will be $500. Should be a good night :onfire:

Sounds good! I think you should call it Smoky Joloky.

I like the sound of Smokey Joloky :) but wanna have the word Jolokia in the title.

Hey Quadshotz you ruined my plan! I am actually getting some smoked Bhut sent out at the moment and was gonna try it out to see if the flavour was as good! If so I will use that instead.

The comp was good. Very funny. After eating some spicy nachos, fresh chillies, chilli paste and a couple of Bhut that I supplied, one was trying not to spew and the other one kept putting his head in his hands. It started off with 12 in the comp and ended with 3.

Damnit ... why do I never see these things until it is too late ...

The chilli heads in Perth really need to keep me updated on these things ...

But the sauce is fantastic, tried it last night, really really nice.

I'm with you Taj, always seem to see these things too late!

Chilli eating comp, people nearly spewing and mexican food. Sounds like great fun!
Hey Candice, nice going on your first sauce, good luck with it.

That Bhut homebrew must be nearly ready for some tasting soon too??? Drop me a line.

I know I should have given a bit more notice but they only contacted me 1 day before the comp! Talk about leaving things to the last minute.
Micca we got 3 beers left with your name on it. Not as good as the last lot - some are great and some aren't hot but we know what our mistake was and the next batch should be perfect.
Let me know when you are free and you can pop around and try some sauce also.

A picture of my unlabelled sauce.

Hey Taj

Glad you like my sauce. Let me know what your guests say at your birthday about it. I will take any criticisms or compliments!

Your sauce is looking good there Candice.
I've only got my sisters birthday sat night if you and Adam want to catch up on the weekend.
