food-bev Smoking

Last year one of my lady friends bought me a smoker (She's also one of my cats Patreons) The wife was dubious at first. Since we live in a class A Motor Coach, it had to be portable. So small was the key word.
My first foray was a Bacon wrapped pork loin...
The wife was hooked. "Now, bring on the heat"...
She's not a big fan of ribs, says they're "Too much work for too little reward." I disagree, but hey, you have to choose your battles, go for the ones you at least stand some chance of winning...
I did ribs for me...Ghost pepper, Cayenne, Garlic, Onion and white Grape jelly glaze. Smoked for three hours at 250°. The meat fell off the bones. Since there was little to no work required to eat them, the wife loved them...So much so that I should have made enough for two...
So, what are you smoking?

Those look really good! But as the resident weber addict, I have to ask what you cooked it on.
I have a 14.5" weber smokey mountain, but I havent got it cleaned up or cooked on it yet, it would work well in a tiny house situation.

I smoked some swiss cheese chicken yesterday, and some fatties.

MPS 20B Portable Propane Smoker by Masterbuilt. One of my editors bought it for me last year. She was also my late cat, Pogo Mau's patreon.
Since there's just the wife and I, there's no need to have something bigger. I can get two full racks of ribs or a whole chicken. I'm considering modifying it to hold a rotisserie as well.

I have no idea what a cat's patreon is lol, but thats a cool little smoker. I have a masterbuilt cabinet I turned into a cold smoker, I want to get a heating element in it so I can dehydrate/smoke some peppers this year

Ahhh. A patreon pays all of the bills basically. Pogo had thousands of followers on FaceBook, I sort of anthropomorphize my cats. Pogo was with me for 13 years, Harvey, The R.V.Cat (@thervcat on FB) has been with me for just over a year. He's a two year old former feral. Has a fondness for Sunflower seeds... That's him in my profile picture.
