So I'm heading back to Germany...

Hamburg again, to be specific.

And I'm leaving in just a few hours. Sitting here, all packed (that took 10 mins, I'm a guy), thinking I should maybe toss my CaJohn's jolokia spice 10 shaker into a ziploc bag and bring it with me.

You know in Hamburg they didn't even have dried red chili's to shake onto pizza and pasta!

Am I nuts? I'd bring a sauce or two but they are tougher to pack.. hmmm.

Why don't you pack up a nice padded box and ship it to yourself? That's what I do.

If things go well, we may indeed end up spending a lot of our time "living" in Germany. Hopefully not in Hamburg, but a bit further south near Heidelberg area.

But we'll see if this business venture pans out or not.

If I was staying more then 10 days, I would ship stuff to myself. That's an awesome idea. Guess I have to be satisfied with the shaker of spice.

At least I know I'm normal! hah!

may we ask what kind of business venture ? also best of luck to you on your business venture.

Pack the sauce. Even if you don't use it you can give it away and make a couple of lifelong friends.

Have a safe trip and best of luck with the venture.

Well, I have my website hosting company that has been running strong since october 2000.

From that, I've made a lot of great friends via customers and contacts. One of those friends is involved in Forex Trading. We've been toying with Forex for nearly 3 years now. We're finally starting to make some excellent returns with this system we've built. We are thinking to perhaps build a software around our system... but we'll see. The main reason is that while we are enjoying some excellent returns, you really need to have capital to earn enough revenue to live on your trading efforts. Turning a few $K into a few more $K really is a slow business. Sure our $3k has turned into $11k but that's not enough to live on, it would barely handle my hot sauce addiction!

Man I've been using this powder on everything. I find the food in Hamburg is not as nice as in Heidelberg area. It definitely needs the extra kick from the powder!

Have a good trip. I haven't been to Germany since Philipperv and I went to Oktoberfest together in 2005. We had a total blast. Can't wait to go again, which will maybe be this year, but it not definitely next year. I think he might be making it out there again too.

And Scott, next time we gotta stay closer, no more getting stuck after the last train at night. And definitely no more taking the train in the wrong direction and spending hours in the middle of nowhere waiting for the next train back into Munich :)
