So What Kind Of Pepper is this?

As some of you may know, I started growing peppers for the first time this year. my first seeds were planted on January 7 and they turned out to be fake Bhut Jolokia which was very disappointing. anyways, my peppers are starting to ripen and would love to have them identified. any help?

Hate to disagree with you brother, but the white things are little aphid carcasses and there is even a live aphid visible in the photo. As far as the pepper variety goes, I would guess some sort of Habanero.

Caribbean Red is the most common Bhut switch. And that definitaly looks like one. And I gotta agree those look like aphid carcases. And it looks like a live one on the left side of the pepper. And some others on the branch above the pepper. It's like looking for Waldo.

I'd switch to malothion its the only thing that seems to keep mine under control but I am trying a dip tonight of
1/2 cup yellow listerine
1/2 baby shampoo
2 gallons of water

Idk if I need to rinse or not or if it will work but I'll post soon to let everyone know
