They have a curvy shape and some corking like the original pods.
That might be closer.
Jalfuego, because the original peppers were over an inch in diameter.
I did post my Serrano pepper in this post.
Some peppers did grow to the size of Serrano but it was because they were planted together and not enough soil.

Thanks for the replies
I would like to find out more about Jalfuego how they were bred

I looked at this website and I think it's what I have

They are actually spelled Jalafuego

Anyone know anything else about these?

I see different heat ranges among the listed Jalapeños.

Nothing compared to the Rayado Jalapeño. It must be close to 75,000 SHUs.

"For reference, cayenne peppers only have 15,000 to 25,000 Scoville heat units (SHUs)"
???
Last I read, cayenne is ~50k

That's pretty hot for a jalapeno.

I've had some mean jalapenos that trick you into thinking the SHU is a lot higher than it is. They have a distinct bite to them. So the hotter ones seem really hot.

is it a hybrid?
Where are these jalapenos getting all this HEAT?
I was posting outloud one day that I wish I had a really Hot Jalapeño
A friend @Bou said he had some old Heirloom seeds for the Chili Rayado.
I grew 5 plants that year & they are gorgeous toxic looking beauties.

An old Mexican Heirloom that is used for Smoking & drying, the seeds are seldom found outside the area.

Gracias por El Video
👍

The Rayado pepper has stripped corking on the fruits but they look more like jalapeno and don't seem to be as curvy
as the Jalafuego

If Jalafuego is a F1 , does anyone know the peppers used for this cross?

Probably jalapeno x
