Jeff your work is fantastic, I'm redoing my kitchen at this time I might need to ask you for some tips if I get stuck, Hope you don't mind.

I don't mind, but I'm not real knowledgeable, might want to consult a professional.  ;)

Nice work Jeff. I have all the tools from my younger years working the trades, but I find myself lacking the patience these days. Maybe once the kids get a little older and I have more free time, I'll be able to give projects the same attention to detail that you do.

And while you're at it, we are all wanting to see you start a glog of the 2500 plant "just a hobby, not worth starting a glog" grow you have going on."

Jeff- the kids will grow fast, enjoy every moment you can with them as I'm sure you do. The good thing this is the tools won't be worn out when you do get to play!!

OK I did start a blog but will be a very small grow this year, ya never know what the future holds.

Thanks for stopping by!! Cheers - Jeff

Jeff, is the pic in 57, is that hole for the sink or for a cook top? That's some really beautiful cabinetry, is it a rescue? Looks really nice and the wife and I love great finds like that.

RM, Yes these are auction buys, the company used them as displays at home show throughout the state, can't say how many times it was assembled and unassembled. Pretty ruough shape when I purchased them and were not made that well to begin with.

Here is a pic I found in the drawer when I bought them.

No the hole is for a cooktop, it came with gas one but the wife wants electric in such a small room. Not going to use the cooktop a whole lot, maybe overflow or canning.

Here you can see the sink on the left and the cooktop hole straight away.

What I like is you got the nice can lights up there...but also the big daddy CFL hanging down. Planning on using the kitchen for an overflow grow station???

You are one of the best craftsman I have every had the pleasure of seeing. Bob Villa would be jealous. You have raised the bar so high all i can say is Wow.! Seems you have major skills in everything from peppers, restoration of all kinds, landscaping, fabrication, and you're a very hard worker. Your a very fine role model for today's generation. Hard work, determination and do it right not just do it. This generation can learn a lot from you!

Jeff, we love auctions too. My wife recently found these 2 Heart of Pine doors, there 150 years old pocket doors taken from an old Georgia Mannor hoise that was being gutted and redone. The guy even threw in a 4 smaller door that matches. So we turned the 2 pocket doors into tables

The third door I'm thinking about ripping down and making a 3 tiered serving platform out of.

Love it!

Nice place Nice work RM impressive!! love the table legs as well, fits the theme.   I'm sure that glass was a cheap date.  I could see seasonal decorations in the inset area, or even some family  photos, or maybe other low profile era tressures, but looks awesome as is for sure. Nice score!!

You ever get around to those serving platforms please post some pics here. Bet they will be really something to see!

Thanks for the post RM. love it!
