Stolen Guitars

A friend of mine's house got robbed the other day. He lives in Martinez, CA. He lost 2 of his most prized guitars. They'll be pretty hard to pawn off here, so all of you out of state guitar players keep your eyes open..... and even you all from different parts of California.
 
Keeping my eyes peeled, doubt they would end up in MI but just in case I'll keep a look out at the local pawn shops and guitar dealers.
 
By the report it sounds like some kids looking for a quick buck. I mean what real thief takes tools from a garage inside the house to try and steal a flat screen TV off the wall? I doubt a pro would have bothered trying to steal a big ass wall tv lol. If that's the case it's probably already been sold to friend or buddy for a couple of hundred bucks. I would keep an eye out on craigslist, recycler and ebay. My bro had the same thing happen to him once and found his car stereo stuff on sale a week later in the recycler he setup a buy back and it was a guy he new. After a good beat down he got 6 months.
 
LGHT, kudos to your bro! We all think it was cranksters/meth-heads. I used to live in Martinez. Bay Area meth central...... Notice on the news report Robb doesn't say to call the police? He says to contact the band for that same reason!

Thanks solar1. This has really got a lot of media attention. It was reported on all 4 of our major bay area news outlets. Not often you see that. 'Tis why I love living here. Like the San Bruno gas line explosion for example. Everyone was told to stop sending clothes, food, blood or whatever because they very quickly had too much surplus..... By the way, KTVU is the only one where they had to bleep him cuz he dropped the "F" bomb. If it was me I'd be dropping "F" bombs every other word.... :censored:

me too, I effing hate thieves! Ill tell the bro's on SD to post it on whatever other forum they post on.
 
There was some band that had theirs stolen in Montreal and they posted on Myspace and ended up getting them back. Good luck in getting them back.
