It is done!
I used 4 pounds of strawberries, and it worked out to 9 reapers, seeds included finely minced.
I only used one pouch of liquid pectin, I wish I had used two, it is fairly runny, but still thick enough for many uses.
My yield was 12.5 jars! 250ml size.
So this is a very basic strawberry jam recipe with just the addition of the reaper pepper. That being said, HOLY CRAP!!!
What an amazing flavor! The heat is incredible and lingers for a long time! Full mouth and lip burn, including the back of the throat.
Just a superb pairing!
A definite winner!!!
