When potting on i have been adding some organic mumbo-jumbo from ACE Hardware that is supposed to stop nematodes from causing problems. I have very small white moths / aphid like things leaving a cotton like scale under the leaves and causing me stress (on the bigger chilli plants from last year).

It's tough to find potting mix etc here, so making my own with guano compost and topsoil.

I know the Chillies will last for a few years, but will the sweet/bell peppers also last?

i don't see any pictures here ... what did you buy from ace hardware that works for nematodes ??

I tried to link the wrong way before.

I found some pH test paper yesterday, seems my soil is about pH 5 to 6.

For the Nematodes, its called 'Picky' and is made in Canada, its dried pellets. No idea what it is but I bought all they had left in the store.

I have also found some good ferts, and some other Chili Seeds that are like a Birdseye but point up all the time.

Whoops! I finally have time to talk about Chillies again!

After a busy diving season at the end of the year, a trip back to the UK, and an excavator to help me with Landscaping i've been too busy for my Chillies

Most of my seedlings got wiped out by Slugs, those f*ckers can wipe out a whole tray overnight, but a few plants made it and could do with some TLC. We do have a major success story in our Chocolate Habanero though, she'd strong and pushing out a lot of fruit. The good news is i managed to buy some more seeds when i was back in the UK, so now i have planted up a bunch of Bhut's and other super strong ones
