outdoors Summer Fishing Anyone???

The reds are running here in Alaska and I'm already getting the fever!  They're not numbering very high on the fish count yet but in about a week I should be able to limit out (3 Kenai River sockeye per day) in about 30 minutes

I'm going to go shark fishing in the SF Bay next weekend near Alcatraz. My brother just got a 21 foot Seaswirl Striper cuddy cabin we are going to break in on some 7 gill and soupfin sharks. And the following weekend maybe a salmon/rockfish/halibut combo trip.

i fly fish out here in Sw Colorado and ultra light fish for trout.  Hoping to make it down below McPhee soon.   Gold medal waters.  Catch and release only for brown and rainbows.

Our river here is polluted even though people are fishing in their, I wouldn't eat anything out of it, and with no car I dont get out unfortunately

I think they are the best tasting fresh water fish
 
And fishing for big flatheads sounds like allot of fun.

theres walleye in the illinois , but the ( vermillion river ) in my back yard theres only catfish, bass , drum , crappie , snapper, bullfrogs, .      and yes walleye are Delish !

I've been smallmouth fishing quite a few times in the Shenendoah this Summer. I'm going out again next Wednesday. I've also hit the Occoquan for crappie and largemouth a couple of times. I wish I could fish for sockeye in Alaska though...someday.

This is my first summer doing salmon fishing, ...the sheer amount of them that run up these rivers is mind boggling, at the height of the run they're so thick that they bump into and swim between your legs
 
I'm used to lake fishing for bass back in the South so this has me pretty pumped up.

I've never fished Alaska but that is on my bucket list for sure.

Indeed it flathead time
Several in the 30's and two over 50lb.
10-14" live bait are the ticket before the real heat sets in.
Light cornmeal and hot coconut oil
Beet Please!
