a super caterpillar just ate through one of my bhuts

darn thing bore a hole, ate up the seeds and everything else from the inside out. hardcore stuff.


anyone else here have a similar experience?

we have a similar caterpillar here , but it's brown. it falls from the trees above. usually don't see them till the damage is done but neem oil drops them dead.

That's a helicoverpa armigera,the tomato fruit worm.they can really do lots of fruit damage.

I got a few pictures of this worm and most of it are munching away a pepper pod. Beat's me why the moth goes and lays its egg on a pepper pod.
