I planted Fatali, Peruvian white hab, bhut, bishops crown, and purple tiger seeds together and to my suprise the fatali sprouted fisrt followd by the peruvian and then the bhut. That was a few days ago and there is still no sign of the others. Just found it strange since I thought the chinense types, especially nagas and bhuts were slower germinating?
 
yes good. Congratulations on the new sprouts. You would expect c. Chinese peppers to take a while to germ. but some time they just find no sense in lying around.
 
Purple Tiger seems to be quite slow to germ.
My tigers take almoust 2 weeks.
All my chinenses germ much faster,about a week.
Some wild species germ faster this year than tiger.
C.Lanceolatum takes 1 week.
 
My Fatalii's sprouted pretty quick too - seems like the Purple Tigers were about a week behind but grew fast when they came up. My slowest to germinate was Aji Limon. Almost 3 weeks. I used Pro-Mix BX to germinate.
