I already peeped that pic and freaked out at the feet directly on pavement lol. And cardboard right there! Ha.
Really though, I'm saying that because it happened to me with my barrel. After cutting the top off, it's super top-heavy unless it's on perfectly level ground. Thankfully I caught it as it wanted to tip over. I ended up putting a shit load of fire bricks in the bottom of it, like a counterweightMikeUSMC said:be careful opening the lid all the way without it being in the stand.
ÂToday was the very 1st day I use my Primo XL and I made some very delicious St. Louis ribs. Everybody was raving about it and I even surprised myself with how good the ribs came out. Here's the bad news, I was cleaning up my Primo and I just lifted the cover up slowly, I let go and all of the sudden the lid tipped over and I couldn't do anything about it. The 1st day I opened the Primo XL, I tighten all the nuts and bolts. I need some advice from all the Primo XL owners out there. This shouldn't had happen and now I'm without a grill.

I definitely would do something, man. Got any bailing wire? Maybe you could tie it down to a couple cinder blocks or something? Or dumbbells/ weights?t0mato said:Maybe I'll prop the back up a little.
Is that a looftlighter they gave you? Those things are cool. Look forward to seeing all the great Q that comes off of that pit.t0mato said:She's lit. Patience is key with this thing. It takes forever to get up to temp. This is definitely harder than the Weber kettle. But once it's hot it should stay hot all day.
