Tepin x Aji lemon drop review

Cool cross.  Does it taste more like Tepin or lemon drop?  I love both varieties so that's exciting. Is the burn fast up front liike tepins?

Chris

Chris - I`d say it tastes more like the Lemon drop overall, but when you first bite into them the heat is all upfront just like a Tepin, followed by the more mellow middle burn you`d expect from the Aji. They really do combine the best of both chills to give more than the sum of the parts. They really are unexpectedly wonderful.

Damn.
That's the problem with an unstable cross----sometimes you get something so unique, that may never be seen again.

clone-clone-clone!

Sounds like this could be a real winner if it gets stabilized.  Then to come with a winner of a name!

What do you think smiley?

Haven't really come up with one yet. I'll get back to ya in that tho!

Nice review, Nigel.  It took me a while to have a few moments to watch the review and you've got me sold - this pepper wimp really wants to chew up one of these.  Look what you've done to me!

That is a beautiful bird.

Thanks Dave. Poulet really is very special to me. It`s funny, but she liked me within 30 seconds of us meeting, yet she bites the crap out of most other people. I got her in a specialist bird store and the staff were scared of her, as she would bite everyone at every opportunity. I had her out of her cage, scratching her head literally within 30 seconds. I don`t know what it is, but we have a really special bond and I cherish that.

It's a very special human experience when you bond with a pet like that.  Those who've been there also recognize it is special to the animal as well.

There are so many people who have obviously never known that experience, don't appreciate how significant it can be or have no desire to explore it.  Funny how different people can be.
