go!

One time I went to a square dance in a barn.

Someone yelled "HOEDOWN!!!".

I thought my date had fallen.

On another note.

I was gonna' do a duck.

But a whole duck is a lot for me to eat.

Leftovers for days.

And duck is too good to let go to waste.

So that idea crapped the bed.

Now its morphed into dill mac salad.

Hawaiian style salmon.

You know.

Like pineapple.

Sriracha.

Mai Poly or Kings Hawaiian.

Butter.

Cream.

Reduce.

Reduce!!!

I need a beer.

carrots
cranberry sauce(from the can)

when i was a kid my grandmother made the cranberry sauce from scratch. nothing in a can even comes close to it. i`ll post pics tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I'm eating at families houses so don't  have to cook. I do have 2 bags of cranberries, 2 oranges, some ginger, lemon zest and loads of hot peppers. Debating on making a small batch of cranberry sauce to bring.

I just made some some with cranberries, sugar, triple sec, bourbon, lemon juice and zest, and clove... it's cooling now... tastes bomb.

Leftover homemade chicken noodle soup and Ice cream. I have a pint of cookies and cream cheesecake core and Sonya has a sticky bun cinnamon pecan brown sugar ice cream. She got tequila I got Beam. Plenty of beer. Nice sexy ride first thing in the morning. Talking bout a bicycle you dirty Turkey boys.

Bird is in the oven with a loose tent. Seasoned with Kirkland no salt seasoning, fresh ground black pepper, lemon thyme and sea salt. Rubbed down in a mix of olive oil and rice bran oil first.

The broccoli and the corn are in their steamers so all i have to do it toss them in the microwave.

Hawaiian rolls are wrapped in foil....God i love these things with a turkey meal.

Simple dressing is done and just needs warming up in the oven while i let the bird rest.

Cheating on the gravy and mashed taters. Harry's roast turkey gravy is pretty good and quick. Idahoan instant mashed taters made with milk and some bone broth are surprisingly good. Homemade stock from neck and giblets has been simmering all morning.
