Well, the Camp Chef beat out the Pit Boss by one simple feature: it has a removable ash cup. That's a biggie for a lazy guy like me.
It went together in a little over an hour, heavy as shit. The burn in went well.
Bluetooth connected quick, but having a shit time getting Wi-Fi up.
The test cook is an ambitious one, 12 lb pork butt and a gallon of Texas Butter Beans (A modified Meathead recipe).
So far so good. She's set @ 225°, probes are approx. 115° after 5 hours. Pretty happy at this point.
