The Great Douglah Growing Thread

keep it to the douglahs boys :P

I worked hard to raise a prime little douglah for pip, as he killed all his under a small star he mounted in the cupboard and then forgot to water them.

I got my 2 going and his died..... then a week later another of mine sprouted so i nurtured it, loved it, sang to it, you name it, just to get Pip a Douglah.

I gave it to him about 1 or 2 months ago and he just dropped it on the ground, in its little pot and forgot about it.

Mr THP........ is this what you want from your moderators......... disrespect for one of the rarest chilli's in the world?

TOTAL DISRESPET?

You have to have respect for the Douglah!

I think the Boss needs to do something about this!

I think as a moderator I need to use the forum tools at my finger tips and do something about you, you poor excuse for a THP member......

God it's likely mum had me cause if you were all she had, life would have been very sad. Little do the people on this forum know that we had to tie a steak around your neck just so the dog would play with you when we where young!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway the Douglah is now in the ground and soon to be 10 foot tall!!!!! :P

After 4 days, I now have 3 or 4 douglah sprouts as well as one sick looking overwintered plant in the I.C.U. It should be another interesting year!

Nice looking plants you guys. Can someone post a pic of a ripe pod? It doesn't matter the source, I just want to see a ripe pod.

I love the almost white inside of the Douglah, beautiful contrast from the outside color, nice pics Chris and Potawie. My favorite super hot, just really like brown/chocolate peppers the best.

Chris, the pic of the Douglah that's cut open, did you take seeds out or are they just a little stingy on their production.

Stripped all the seeds Dale. :) I"m going to respond to your e-mail soon too. I'm not ignoring you! Nice to see you back on here.

Chris

Thought that was a scorpion. That explains why its so dark. Could it have been crossed with a scorpion?

Not every pod with a tail is a T.scorpion but all Trinidad scorpions are pods:)
The pod in the pic had more distorted features than most. Here's a few other pics

Another "tail" but not a scorpion
