"The Scovie Chronic-le"

Dude, you have no idea. This fuckin thing has everything. Heated AND AC Leather seats, automatic running boards, automatic "rain sensing" windshield wipers, heated rear seats, back up camera with auto assist trailer hitching, on board navigation, heated mirrors, Sirius radio. Etc etc etc etc etc. but best of all is the engine, transmission and drive train. V6 twin turbo with eco-boost®, 6 speed automaic or manual transmission, on the fly 4WD shift at any speed, no slip traction, a towing/hauling function that changes the way the truck shifts up and down hills, So bad ass, it's a beast that will eat other trucks for lunch. F-150 Platinum. I bought it in September and the only thing I REALLY wanted was low miles, and it had 57,000. It's the first car payment I've ever had in my life but it's sooo worth it. My old '77 turned 40 and it's ready to retire. I am Sofa King in love. On top of all that, I drove it up over the North Cross, down to Whidbey Island back over Stevens Pass back home and it got 18.6 mpg (average).

Here's an excerpt of a random review LOL
"The Platinum has a 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, which has plenty of gut-wrenching power and better fuel economy than you might expect in a powerful utility truck. The F-150 has some added pep thanks to the turbocharged engine designed to match the power and torque of a V8 engine yet with fewer trips to the gas station."

Yeah, it's back seats are super comfortable, not like the little jump seats in "king cabs" it has more legroom than most luxury cars. They fold up for a big cargo area and the truck came with Weathertech floor liners.

I don't mean to sound braggy but damm, we have been in that old '77 for sooo damm long. Owning this is a huge reminder of how fortunate are. We work hard and try to be frugal. And honestly, I didn't set out to get a truck like this. We left it up to the Universe and SHAZAM! I just wanted a good truck with low miles, cruise control and maybe intermittent wipers. LMAO All the things our old truck didn't have.

Your next trip from the Spokane airport to Twisp will be a lot different Hogleg. LOLOL

The Caddy... yeah, we still have it but it will be for sale soon. It's more than I can handle keeping it clean, tune ups etc and it's a damm shame that it just sits there. I would never drive it in the winter (although I have had chains on it before) but it needs a nice warm garage to sit in for the winter. Kinda sad but it's time.

Should I change your username now or later?

Wait. That ain't right bro. Can't sell!

Thanks guys, This is the first time I've shared about it. Somehow it makes me feel guilty (I'm a recovered Catholic), I'm glad it doesn't look auspicious on the outside to be honest. With all the stuff that thing has it was like going from a bicycle to the space shuttle.

Hell yeah! Portland!!! Letdo this!

We got some rain, but tons of wind. There were tons of downed trees because most of them still had leaves. The temps here have also been chilly...high 30's to mid-40's. The cascades got epic amounts of snow. A lot of ski runs are already open and it's only mid November.
Wow, wind? We didn't get any of that thankfully. But yeah, the passes have been closed at times already. Snoqualamie I-90, was a bitch last weekend with black ice and tons of snow. The North Cross, (technically the North Cascades Highway 20) is already closed for the season.
