The sought after 7 pod brain strain

Looking for a decent reliable source for the 7 pod brain strain. Have found online but dont want to trust anyone I dont know, after all, everyone on here is a friend of mine. Also perhaps some scorpion seeds as well. I know its real late in the season, but after browsing many, many pics of these plants I cant help resist trying to plant them this season, and perhaps overwinter. I'm more then willing to pay, however way you want. Paypal, etc... Just let me know and I'm also down for a trade. Thanks --

I have scorpion seeds I can share but I will not have Brain Strain seeds available until the Fall. If you want them PM me your address and I will get them out tomorrow morning.

I got your PM and I will send them out tomorrow morning. The Scorpion seeds I originally got from AJ back in '08. I don't know what strain they are but they look pretty cool...

Those 2 pods in the left top corner are Bhuts from another plant.

I will have the Butch T. strain available in the Fall as well.
 
Awesome, any seeds from AJ are great, and the pics look wicked. To me, a scorpions a scorpion ya know? Better then paying 20 bucks for a rip off! If no one ends up having the brain strain in a few days, I might as well order them from THSC, but hoping someone out there can help soon! Thanks so much Josh
 
i would send you 20 bucks if you give us a link i cant find a site that sells them. i find all these sites that talk about them but they have a no trading or selling rule. should we wait 5 years for neil to sell it?

Nah - many of us here on THP are growing them, just make sure you have something nice to trade with this fall;)

Its probably just a matter of time before some E-bay leaches start selling them, but don't support these sellers. Cappy and other forum members have gone through a lot of trouble to isolate this particular variety and to save and trade seeds. For someone else to start selling the seeds would be like a slap in the face IMO:(
 
you calling me a leach i used to sell stuff like bhut jolokia and naga morrich and never had any complants. i even gave extras. you know whos a leach. hirts gardens. they went and gave me Chocolate habs instead of Chocolate bhut jolokia and red habs instead of naga morrich. last year none of my seeds i already had grew so i bought from him and thats what i got. complete waste of $60. i had naga morrich before but none of my seeds gre so i bought 2 plants
 
If you get a rare strain like the Brain as a gift, grow them and then sell seeds (on E-bay or elsewhere) you are a leach who is taking advantage of other peoples work and generosity. Thanks for the info.
 
i stoped selling on ebay. i usally grow them until i have enogh to trade and sell. and i keep growing it. now the only site i use is local harvest. you know that neil doas it how come you dont call him a leach? i keep the more rare stuff. i cant even find anything online. so far the seven pods i have are 7 pod. i should be getting jonah and barrckpore i had no idea they even existed. i only thought there was 7 pod, trinadad scorpion, congo trinadad, congo yellow trinadad, trinadad seasoning red and yellow. and trinadad perfume. i only am able to get a few of these i am a collecter not a leach. i have grown tons of varietys but none of the things i got in trade i sold.
 
Neil doesn't pretend that he wants a few seeds for his personal use and then sneak behind your back and sell them for a profit. If you don't see the difference then that's you problem.
 
i dont sell anything i get in trade though. the only things i sell are things i bought then grew 2-3 i am a member of seed savers exchange thats were i get a few of my things. i havent sold there in few years
 
xcsports, I am the original grower of the Brain Strain and I have never sold any of the seed. I only trade with worthy growers I can trust will not try to make a quick buck reselling my seeds, that pretty much counts you out. Sraticus I am all out of tradable seeds ATM but pm me when I am harvesting pods again, Nova send me you addy and I will did in my stash for you. I know everyone who has received seed and I honestly believe good people here won't sell seeds that were given to them in the first place.
 
i am not a seller of seeds i get for postage or trade. why cant anyone understand that. i collect them. the things i sell are prety commen like golden cayenne, white habanero, chilhuacle negro. nothing extremly rare. the rarest thing i sell is chocolate bhut jolokia. out of the seed i bought that was true. heres the link http://www.localharvest.org/store/M34599 please tell me if you see anything questionable and i'll tell you were i got it from.

Did I call you a leach? No. But if you or anyone else start making money off someone else's hard work and generosity, then you're a leach like most of the e-bayer out there selling super-hots.
The problem with e-bay complaints is that nobody comments 6 months later when their plants are producing. People reply positive most of the time after good shipping and germination.
Personally I try to even avoid giving seeds away unless I've grown them for a few years and know quite a bit about the growth habits, production, size, germination rates etc. but most e-bay pepper seed sellers are just after producing quick seeds and money, or they are re-sellers who know nothing about the product other than the description they stole. This leads to poor quality seeds since they are likely not selecting from the best pods, just whatever pods they can grow

i just dont sell things i got from trade or postage. i am being acused of something i am not. if you look at my grow list i will now say if i got it in trade or if i bought it. the only time i might have sold stuff from trade was when i was selling on seed savers exchange wich was a couple of years ago. i am preparing to try the bhut this year. i only started growing peppers back in 06. even back when i was selling on ebay. i did not even know that seed trading places existed. now i am acused of something i am not i am trying to start a seed bank i just figured out the best way to get them to germinate i am still learning. like i said i am a collector not a seller. its not like i am making big money like ebay leeches
