A small but beautifully formed pepper. Great shape and colour. The initial aromas were very strong C.chinense, extremely aromatic and very Trinidad Scorpion-like. A  bit of fruitiness thrown in and what more could you ask for?
 
As with the aromas, the flavor was a little sweet and fruity up front, with strong C.chinense and Scorpion-like flavours. There are a lot of aromatics with this pepper, which gave a very complex flavour indeed. It`s hard to describe, but it`s like the flavors are so volatile, they go up your nose a little. I enjoyed that a lot, as it is very rare to get so many aromatics in a pepper. 
 
The heat was nice and warming, but not remotely aggressive. I`d say roughly half as hot as an Orange Habanero, but this pepper has so much more it might as well be from a different planet. 
 
I suspect this one would be a go-to pepper in the kitchen, for just about every dish you could imagine. I thought of Ceviche immediately!!!

I wonder if this Trinidad variety is the same as the "cherry top"...
 
Excellent review Nigel. I noticed on Judy's site that she has one named exactly the same, but she specifically mentions that it does not have a strong aroma or smell in comparison to others. Is this the same pepper?
 
Does anyone know who might have some seeds available for sale or trade?
 
Nice! Love the way it looks.  It’s kind of like the little Cherio Roxa, but red and more pointy.  Also a lot more fleshy looking inside with less seeds.  The flavor you describe, plus the warming burn sounds like a keeper to me. I’m really anxious to try this one.  Nice review.
 
hey Nigel...can you give me any information on what the plant looks like?....or would you ask the nice person to post a pic?...
 
I am very interested...I only had 3 or 4 seeds back about 7 or 8 years ago and got one to germinate....it grew into a bush that was wider than it was tall...
 
can't find a picture of the plant but here is one of the pods....in the bottom center "square" they are in a horizontal row on top....

Sorry Jack, I just don`t know. The seeds came from Judy about 3 or 4 years ago, according to Omar. I just had a look on Pepperlover.com and Judy seems to have them again, although my experience with 3 or 4 peppers was as above, not as Judy found to be the case. 
 
Maybe Judy can say something?
Jack, I`ll ask about the plant. Of course I don`t mind, you post whatever you feel like!!!

The seeds were originally from Judy, 3 or 4 years ago, so I`d expect them to be the same or similar as are currently on her web site. Not sure where the discrepancy lies with respect to the flavor/aroma.
