..put detergent into the bottle of mountain dew...crack & drop the glow stick into the bottle, close lid, shake = same thing
what is the deal with the peroxide and baking soda??? is it just a joke??
probably people trying to be over-scientific. the glow stick glows on it's own... i guess it wouldn't fill the whole bottle, so that's where the soap comes in.
personally, i prefer taking MRE heaters and tossing them in a bottle with a little water, shaking it up, then throwing it. doesn't make a good glow stick, still fun though.
