Using a ,Lets say Boston accent got traded for some other accent when talking online or in public.
A guy from Boston uses Ya'll and yous or a jamaican accent-Hey Mon- to be cool.

NY accents are faked a lot too.
Most don't sound like any I've actually heard when I was in NY,Long Island,the city,upstate or wherever I went(been in all but 3 of the states).
Ya Different places had different accents but none or few were like the idiots on tv or the net use to be cool.
