misc This year's Potential Pepper Crop....What's yours?

This is the final variety list but the numbers next to each plant has changed. To much work and not enough pepper time has put me behind. I have also added my mater list for anyone who is interested. Did I here someone say that this was an addictive hobby?

We have 206 peppers planted & up..we went 10 for 10 on our Bhut Jolokia seed. We also have 24 Nagas up..& the list goes on & on..
We also have 144 tomato plants up.
We are increasing our garden space by aprox. 4000 sq ft. Making our total sq.footage 10,000 sq ft..

Good grief, what will you do with all those peppers? I can't get my head around the sheer numbers, not to mention just the varieties, yikes!

Your tomato list looks good. If you haven't already tried Black Zebra, I think you'll like it. It's a gorgeous tomato for looks, but it's also a lovely one for processing, not to mention fresh eating. It has very dense juicy flesh and holds up well to blanching and dicing. Marianna's Peace is a monster potato leafed plant, growing upwards of 10' in ideal conditions and a super producer of huge pink beefsteaks that will amaze you. The flavour of them is excellent, in my opinion up there with Brandywine Sudduth but much much much more productive. Enjoy!

Sorellina - I will put Marianna's Peace and Black Zebra to next year's potential grow list. I do not grow Brandywine anymore. It tastes great, but the plant does not produce despite of huge plant size. Thanks for your input.

You've got some balance to your tomato list there. Opalka, San Marzano, and Rutgers are all excellent processing tomatoes. Black From Tula (my FAVOURITE black), Black Krim, Kellogg's Breakfast, Stump of the World are all larger tomatoes, outstanding in thick slices in a sandwich. Stump of the World has been compared to Brandywine also but is slightly smaller and much more productive. Black Cherry and Sungold F1 are both hugely prolific cherries. It will be a race to see which one ripens earliest, Sungold F1 or Stupice, a very early red saladette. The others I can't really comment on as I've not grown them.
 
:shocked: And I thought I have a lot...Those are some real impressive grow lists. You guys are making me wish I lived out in the country. I could really use a couple of acres :)

A few post back on this thread I posted I was cutting back
on my list due to new puppy.Well I was wrong planted more today
so the list is back to 17.:lol:My Bhut Jolokia and Fatalii
sprouted today so I am back on track.:)

I also ordered some tomato plants since I only have 2 growing right now. I ordered Aker's West Virginia and Sugar Cherry.
