Tiller adequate for 10000 sq ft garden?

That Deere will do it. I wouldn't want to hand till that much for sure. I'm doing 2400 sq ft and probably gonna have a neighbor bust it up with his tractor tiller for the first time.
 
if it hasn't been tilled before on a regular basis then it's tractor work.

if it has then a "hand" tiller should work fine- you likely don't need it all at the same time anyway.

i've worked with a number of different tillers over the years and the honda's are the best imo.
 
After you get someone else to plow and disk it, I'd get a rear tine tiller if you can afford it. If not get a front tine. Get one that's at least 2' if not 2.5-3'.
