Tomato based sauces

How about tomato sauces?!

I've made a few using canned tomatoes, habaneros, vinegar, raw garlic, and fresh herbs and they all came out good. But none on market?!!  :shh:  Does it become "salsa" when you add tomatoes or it is a missing category?

PS not talking ketchup! the texture is thicker, no sugar added, minimal salt & vinegar.

Thank you.

My tomato dill sauce is cooking!

Made of green habaneros, canned ground tomatoes, bell pep, carrot, onion, garlic, vinegars, spices...

There's lots of tomato based sauces and Secret Aardvark is AWESOME!  I make a fire roasted tomato sauce that is very popular.

Your sauce looks good.  Quick side note- each bottle should be capped and inverted immediately after filling, one at a time, so the sauce stays hot.  By filling several and letting them set, the sauce cools and won't sterilize the inside of the cap and also might not create the seal as it cools.

Have Fun!!!
