Tomato Seeds for Pepper Seeds

Ciao all-

Tomatoes and peppers go together famously. Since all of you here grow amazing peppers, I thought I'd offer to share some of my tomatoes because that's my thing. My husband, Duane, is the pepperhead, but he's just getting started and hasn't really gotten the hang of isolating and collecting his seeds, plus he works more than any human should have to, so it's a time thing, too.

Let me know if you have any questions about these varieties or tomatoes in general. Also, if you don't see what you're looking for here, PM me anyway, I may have it in smaller quantities. I don't bag blossoms, but I collect the very first ripe fruits and save those seeds before the pollinators are out in large numbers. I have very low cross-pollination rates. I include 10-20 seeds per trade, depending on quantity available. If you would like more than that, just ask.

I just packed up my contribution to a local gardening round robin, so several of my older seeds got sucked up in that. Get 'em while the getting's good! Put your wish lists in now. Duane's still sorting things out with his peppers, but go ahead and let me know what you'd like. We can worry about him later.

Wow, Sorellina, I don't think I have heard of any of those. I too agree that peppers and tomatoes go so perfectly together. Like peanut butter and chocolate. Wish I had more space.

Ciao all-

Duane's on "overwhelm" at the moment, both with work and doing his seed inventory. I know he's interested in the scarier of the Caribbean peppers because he wants to break into making powders and sauces this year. Any of the more unusual, hard to find ones would be terrific. He especially likes the ones that are a colour other than the norm, like Purple Cayenne or the Naga Jalokia Purple that he's growing this year or Fataliis in other colours besides gold, that kind of thing. He likes the ones that even look scary and I bet that's part of the reason so many of you like growing them as well, am I right? ;) I remember showing him a photo of one of Potawie's Scorpions and he said 'wow, I have to grow that one!'

I've traded away most of my extra seeds already this year but if there's ever anything that I'm growing that interests you or Duane, just let me know:)

Ciao all-

After more trading, I've revised my trade list to reflect what I have left. There is still a good assortment listed, but again, if there's something particular that you're looking for, just ask. These are what I have already packaged and ready to go.

Ack! Sorry everyone about the mailbox thing. This site is crazy quick! Maybe the moderators could give us a wee bit more space.
