Tower Garden

Hey has anyone ever seen or heard of this? My friend recently became a rep for this company and I'm kind of interested in it, but can't really afford it at the moment.

You could make one with a small tank, a large piece of pvc, netcups, pump, tubing, and find some hard plastic to poke holes out of to make it drain equally . for less than 200.
But its a cool idea!

i saw one a few weeks ago on craigs list for the first time, i was floored on the price, i have 9 dwc buckets, 1,000 mh/hps and still have less than half that invested

i agree one could be made for far less, i would guess 125 bucks or less

they promote it at a local farmers market here and yep, like everyone else says it is expensive but it is clean looking. i am guessing if government is footing the bill, it is great for warm global southern locations that have roof tops - like some of their video show.

LOL Mark! I'll have to remember that one for the next time someone asks about my lighting!

"Why yes, I invested in the MNLS, it's a fantastic system, the plants LOVE it, and it uses absolutely NO electricity!"

Wouldn't the plants be a little crowded?

Depending on what you grow yeah, my issue is if you put peppers or tomatoes in it and didn't rotate the thing then the ones facing the sun MIGHT grow a bit bigger than the other side and it could topple. Other than that, build your own, same a crap load.
