Traditional Hot Sauce Recipes ?

First of all HI. Long time listener, first time caller.

So I've been making a few batches of sauce and have had some success with a few different recipes but after trawling through dozens of recipes I got thinking: Whats a traditional hot sauce recipe?

I'm particularly interested in traditional Mexican recipes but am keen to hear anything

Try a pipian sauce, that's a traditional pumpkin seed sauce in Mexico. Also look up moles in general. Many different moles. Those are sauces you cook with. Then there are table sauces (salsas), many of which are unlike the chunky salsa we serve over here, a lot are blended and are more like what we call hot sauce.
