I stopped in a place called the Jerky Shop or similar near Dallas yesterday. I asked the shop owner about "The Challenge" and he said the challenge was to suck the extract off 1/2 a toothpick and those who did not eat, drink or throw up or fall on the floor after 20 minutes would get their picture on the wall.
That stuff is outrageously intense!
My mouth, tongue and throat were burning of course, and within 5 minutes my stomach felt the same as my mouth after drinking very hot coffee. No reflux last night and the morning after was not that painful. Now, if the contest was a spoonful I would probably have some pucker issues this morning.
