Thanks for stopping in Rocket man!! And thanks for the info .... Yeah checked out a few links casually (haven't sat down and thrashed it out yet) but all of them came up as dead ends or broken links so far. As for eBay or Amazon ... I am probably better off heading to the casino and hitting the slots ;) :D

Some random sprout pics to prove I am telling the truth :D ;)  Sorry I don't have a macro so these are hand held using my nifty 50

And in further news my Red Brainstrain has hooked .... :woohoo:

So currently still waiting on Hot Fish Pepper, Cili Goronong, Nebru, Primo x Yellow Bhut F2, Orange and Orange Rocoto (not sure if its Rocoto or Manzano as I have both and I think I have been calling it Manzano and then I saw I had put Rocoto on the label :D ) and Choco Scorp ....

Nice pics of your seedlings Trippa! I wouldn't worry about non-germing seeds immediately... some of mine took almost 3 weeks to pop. Some took longer, but I replanted at the 3 week mark and discarded the slowpokes on the theory that they'd grow too slowly and produce to little due to lack of vigor. Cheers!

Thanks Rick!!

Yeah I am a little impatient this year I guess because I am growing so many varieties that I have never grown before and having such a clean slate to start with.  However I don't think I have had so many stubborn ones all together like this either .. which is why I am more apprehensive as well....I think I just need to leave well enough alone and stop poking around trying to see if the seeds are germing or not and let them be ... I might start some back ups soaking on Saturday night because I don't want 6 week gaps between plant ages.... crossing fingers I don't need to.  My big ones I really want are Nebru and Primo x Yellow bhut f2 ... the others will be bonus material

Tristen, you are off to a rollicking good start, my friend.
It seems funny to hear you talking about 2014 already.

Your 7 Yellow is podding like crazy and the two original pods
are about the size of the end of my thumb and b-u-m-p-y!

Cheers Paul!! I think I am becoming more impatient as I get older ... I always thought it would be the other way round!!
Nice to hear the yellow 7 is producing well Paul. It was my second plant to hook this year (always one of the first it seems)I think the genetics are good ones in that line of yellow 7 from THSC. Cheers!!

Congrats on all da starts, I use to give them 3 weeks too as Jamie stated but then I've had some pop after 3 months which blew me away. Normally I just let them sit there till they pop but the last batch had been sitting for over a month so this time I tossed them :/

I be very interested in your peach ghost scorp, heck I'd be happy with a peach ghost even without da scorp ;)

Yeah I don't think I could wait 3 months :D ;) half a month is tough enough !!

Well if I get enough desirable pods from the peach ghost scorp hopefully I will have some seeds to spread about for the next NH season starts ... Fingers crossed!!

Just bought this (not from here) myco product ... I hope it works ok ... can't find much info on it and maybe should have gone with a more reputable brand but thought it sounded like a good product (Everything does though doesn't it :D ).

Who knows if it doesn't work out I guess I have wasted $40.00 and not lost anything else ...except time and pride :D

Cool shots of the seedlings. I've also seen seeds emerge all of a sudden weeks after germination..(like waking up late for work and jumping out of bed). I don't deem slow risers as being poor producers in the long run. It's how they take off once they're airborne. When I 1st planted the Ghost Pepper I expected up to 4 weeks if not more ...at least that's what people were saying. I bought right from CPI and the seeds emerged in 10 days. I wish I had a reason to start up seeds right now, cause those photo's got me all hyped up...Have fun with the 2013/14 ride.

Thanks for taking a look Greg!!

Yeah when I first bought scotch bonnet and Dorset Naga seeds years ago as my first Chinense attempts I was also expecting a month wait based on all the info I was given. I couldn't believe it based on the Annuums I had grown before which had usually taken a 5-10 days
Good to know you don't deem late risers as poor producers ... I usually don't care too much , I really just care about getting something to pop first and foremost .... Then because I usually put 2-4 seeds in each jiffy (dependant on seed source and how much I paid for the seeds and quantity of said seeds in stock) I select the most vigorous once they get to 2nd-3rd-4th true leaves (depends how many seedlings are in the pot)and cull from there (good chance at this stage I find to take the culled plants (cut off at ground level) and chuck them straight in water and leave them on a window sill... They take root very easily like this and nothing is lost and these seedlings then make good gifts)
Sorry Rambling here just woken up. :D
Greg It takes all my will power every year not to start more and more seedlings especially when I see the Northern hemisphere blogs starting up!! Cheers man!
