Trippa's 2023/2024

Back again and trying to get my first decent grow going in a few years.
Experimenting a little with an aeroponics setup for some of my starts.
Not certain how that will go but taking a punt.

Have a bunch of different varieties down from varying age seeds (some from 2011-12 right through to 2022 all stored in fridge since early 2015)

Most seem to be doing as they should and germinating. Some are being a little stubborn as expected.

Once germinated they are going under a 500-600 watt LED panel with extra natural light in the greenhouse on a heat mat.

Only thing I am lacking is a fan to get some more robust/less leggy seedlings which you can see in the seedling pictures.

Multiple strains of myself and PaulG's Trippaul threats plus PaulG's Purple thunder among many others.

I also have my three outdoor Pubescens which are in their 8th year happily overwintering with pods still. Biggest one of those is probably 8ft high. Needs a trim back currently.

Will try to sporadically update as I go along.

Well ... It's harvesting time and seed pod selection time again.... A fiesta of colour and some decent heat in the pods already sampled.
Made some sweet chilli jam out of some of the outdoor pubescens which is absolutely beautiful (if I do say so myself)

I have 4 different phenotypes of them Paul (I think 3 of them are in the photos I just posted) a yellow pheno(which has thrown to the Bonda ma Jacques by the looks) that starts off white , a bright red Pheno which is more akin to a Bhut, a red Pheno with darker purple-ish stripes and a more violet/purple Pheno which are just starting to come through (not mature)

Will keep seeds from all of them if I can

Nice job sir Seeing some good ol' pod action while waiting for plant out day (late May/early June here) is always a relief, even if it's short-lived!
