Trippaul Threat (PdN x BMJ) Community Grow

This is a dedicated grow log for Tristen's awesome cross, which I
have been growing out since 2014.  I'll start with a bit of history and
some photos documenting what's happened so far.

In January of 2014, Tristen (Trippa) sent me a little care package of seeds.
In the package were two generations of a cross he had made, which he just
called 'Mystery Cross, F1' and 'Mystery Cross, F2'.

Here's Trippa's Mystery Cross seedlings in February of 2014:

Both generations showing the purple foliage characteristic since the beginning.

Up close look at Trippa's Mystery Crosses, F1 and F2.  Both culled to a single
plant after the photo taken, so I only had one plant of each generation:

I'll say, Bernd.  I'm impressed with how fast they got
to you and to Sim.  Hope the same goes for Tristen!
Glad they made it safely   :metal: !

I do, indeed, Gary

Just PM me your addy, and I'll get them out quick.

them on this thread.

Alright, we're adding Snagglepuss to the list
of growers for the F6 grow!  That gives us two
in the UK and one in the Netherlands!

Welcome aboard, Gary! Seeds on the way...

Alright, Tristen!! I think just about everybody
has their seeds now.

Looks like you and Scott are leading the
charge into the F6 'global grow'!

To anyone reading, I still have enough seed
for three or four more folk...

By way of adding a little color to the page, here is an update on the
F5-2017 overwintering experiment.  The plant has been on the table
in the garage since about 30 Oct. under a T5HO 4' x 4 light, 7 hours
a day at present. To me, he amount of growth is most evident when it
is compared to the original trunk of the plant.

Closer look at lower branching growth. I have done quite a bit of pruning
to allow each growing tip to have it's own space to grow into:

As for Fall color, this shot on Nov. 18 was just about the peak:

I planted 4 seeds in each 3.5" pot. 4 whites have germed and 2 purples. One (purple) a struggling survivor of helmet head surgery.

Film @ 11 :D
Alright! Scott leads the way!

At least we know the seeds are viable!
