TWILIGHT...........

I give this one 4 deuches out of a possible 5.

I have never seen a crappier vampire movie.

Yes, SWMBO dragged me kicking and screaming.

Even she didn't last the whole movie.

this movie sucks.

;)

My daughter absolutely gushes about this movie....AND the books too. I'm just not too interested in either of them myself.

The 17th time that this deuche of a vampire (wearing waaaaaaaaaaaay too much make-up) was standing next to the chick saying "It is not safe for us to be together!"
(that being the case, why the PHUC wasn't he somewhere else, so as not to be together?)

I began vomitting violently, THANK GOD!! It was 10X more pleasant than trying to follow the Deuche family Von Vampire's adventures within this convoluted and ridiculous plot to save a single human from the evil vampires who are desperate to drink her blood, despite the fact that a veritable buffet of humans and 7 or 8 deuchey vampires stands between them and her.......

(that spoiler thing is cool, but may become annoying!)

IDK, it's a bit too "girly-angsty", but is a ok vamp flick.

The books are better from what I hear.

Then again, I've read every Anne Rice book, and used to play the "Vampire: the Masquerade" RPG. So, who am I to talk.

I liked interview with the vampire. Queen of the damned lost me, but I would never call it a crap fest.

The girl in ths movie was great, it was all the horribly portrayed vampires. From the Tom Cruise wannabe Dad/Dr/deuche, to the poorly acted "sister" or whatever, to the horribly acted Mommy bloodsucker.

ive both read and have watched the movie, and ive got to say the book was WAY better. i agree the him saying its not safe and not leaving is stupid, but
he leaves in the second book
which makes it better  shit ton of people were saying the book was good which it is, the movie didnt cut it.

Thank you. For at least affirming that I am NOT the only THP member to sit through this!!;)

I can understand that the book might be good....

But book to movie can either be: "Needful Things" great book, CCCCRRRRRAp movie, or "Lord of the rings" where the first one brought tears to my eyes....

Methinks this is the former.;)

My wife is reading these stupid books. Even she says they suck but can't stop reading them. I told her to read some real literature like Harry Potter.

NEAR DARK.... now that's a vampire movie.

Have to check that one out Chuck.

I am hooked on the Underworld series.

Interesting plots, some questionable acting, bad ass fight scenes, but most of all, I could look at Kate Beckinsale's ass in black leather for 14 hours straight and never blink.;)

I'll buy that for a dollar!

I have a used copy of the first one and have watched it a couple of times. Still need to see the other 2. Pretty damn goofy but I enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for those BLADE movies too.

Yeah, see NEAR DARK. It is awesome.

Will do Chuck, yeah I like the blade series too. Goofy, but just bad ass and creative enough to keep it entertaining.

Underworld 2 was definitely better acted than the first, and was original enopugh to stand on it's own.

Read the book, saw the movie, bought the DVD.
The books are more detailed and for a broader audience, but the movie is definitly a chick-flick, made by a very weird woman director. I watched the bonus features where she introduced some deleted scenes.
I'm surprised she even got the job.

I have the books, and my kids bought the DVD, and i think the books are far better then the movie, to much was left out.
I have seen spoilers for New Moon, and i think this one will be way better then Twilight, and the movie has a new director too.

A new director can make a complete difference. Great.

My OP was really just bashing the first one. I will wait to pass judgement on the 2nd.....

A long, long, long, long long time.;)
