two batches today

batch one: yellow peppers (turks...fatali...devils tongue...aji limon....brain strain...a few unknown yellows)....papaya...mango...lime....el jimador blanco tequila...agave syrup    2o bottles
 
batch two is simmering now:  orange peppers (a whole slew....lots of super hots)....papaya....persimmon...carrot....garlic...port wine.....will get lemon, lime, agave syrup later....gujessing yield at 30-40 bottles
 
note: peppers were frozen, so colors are a little 'off'

That should keep ya busy for a while. I like the mango and papaya as well.
Hope you were able to taste test some of the Tequila before, during and after the saucin'.

40 bottles of orange
 
 
based on peppers in the freezer and left to tipen....30-40 more bottles of red, maybe 10-15 bottles of a blend (that will include all 3 colors and a bunch of chocolates)

each color will simply be hand lettered, "orange 2013", "red 2013", "yellow 2013" and "blend 2013"
 
the blend will include yellow, red, orange & some chocalates....the red, yellow & orange will get smoked....
 
 
each bottle will also be hand numbered....
 
 
sold over 40 already.....and i haven't tried to sell any yet.,..lol
 
 
next years garden, including seeds, garlic seed stock, power bill to run lights....will all be paid for.....

up to 99 bottles now....i'll make the blend when i get some more bottles in.....thinking that will be 15-20....maybe 25
 
 
 
other 3 colors are all labeled and numbered....

made one last batch of 30 bottles - took two quart bags of chocolate habs & congos.....then a mix of all 3 colors that i saved
 
smoked the reds & oranges for a few hours in cherry.....into the pot with the rest, along with cider vinegar, prickly pear, pomegranate, 5 bulbs of smoked garlic and two smoked onions and a good handfull of carrots
 
after blending it also got two bottles of agave and the juice of two lemons
 
 
this one was def. the deepest/most complex of the 4....if it were a scotch, it would be an islay malt for sure
 
 
 
all told, 129 bottles labeled and out the door......plus i filled two grolsch type beer bottles of the blend to hang onto for throughout the year
 
 
 
the wofe can't complain about the garden any more ;)
