I had a purple jalapeno that had flowers like those pictured above. I thought they were supposed to be all-purple, and the peppers weren't hot at all so I'm not sure if it was crossed or whatever.

The thread you're thinking of might be this one?
Can't get it to load on this connection, so I don't know if there's a picture of that flower there.

I thought it was similar to my UlupicaXEximium flower, but I think mine has a narrower violet edge. It's a beautiful flower!
