Variegated Jalapeno Plant?

That's a good looking plant.  If it's a variegated, there's no guarantee that you can grow it true from seed.  You may want to consider making a few clones.

Excellent point, and something to consider Nick.

A few ripe ones.

Most definitely try to clone it, that pheno needs to be spread around.

Here's my theory: whoever you bought the seeds from has Fish genetics for variegation lurking around, and they don't know because it's recessive. They have a half jalapeno half Fish that they're accidentally selling seeds from. Only 1/4 seeds will be variegated, so it slips through. They need to clean up their genetics though, that's sadly not a very healthy growing plant (not your fault)

I decided to start a few more this year. Seeds from original plant. Just set out in garden a few weeks ago.

What comes to my mind is the Matt's Mattapeno, but those have more white leaves, I think.
No matter, interesting plant.
